It's very simple for someone with a working brain. I didn't notice too much of a Difference on my MAch but my 06 had a big improvement

Simple installation.

Less vibration was the biggest difference I felt...not so much power 'gain' (from reduction of rotating mass to the wheels).

*****UPDATE:****Got my Ford racing drive shaft and tail shaft seal installed, I decided to check the fluid level of the tranny to see how much i lost with the leaking seal. Turns out i lost almost a quart of syncromax, so i filled it back up. No more leaks. The 1st thing i noticed was my steeda triax shifter is much less notchy. I also noticed the smooth balance of the new drive shaft. The car is a tad bit more responsive but nothing to write home about.....next mod..a Bassani catback!!!! Should i get the baffled or non baffled version?

Seriously, many guys claim you will notice an improvement in driveline vibration if you have any vibration there now. There is very little reduction in driveshaft inertia with the one piece DS we have. As you mentioned, the two piece units on the newer cars are heavy and actually do gain a small measurable improvement.

You will spend more time raising the vehicle than actually swapping the driveshaft.
When swapping to 4.10 or 4.30s alot of heavy driveline vibration at highway speeds is very common. When I did my new rear and suspension over the winter I ended up with TONS of vibration with 4.10s and the solid ended team z control arms, my vibration dampner was also removed, it was almost unbearable. I ordered the alum driveshaft immediatly and viola, the vibration is 95% gone. Its def a major improvement on cars with gearing but most importantly the beefier u-joints.

I ordered my Bassani catback non baffled exhaust today, it should be here Monday. Let me tell you American muscle is awesome. I found the same catback on another website for $200.00 cheaper then they had it, and they matched that site's price, also free shipping , can't beat American muscle they are the best!!!! If Sundays show has today's weather i will be there, if it rains I may have to pass!!!!
