Regardless, mine are dark as hell. It was like that when I bought it, and to be honest it took some real getting used to. Late at night or in early mornings the side view is practically non-existent and completely black. To see house numbers at night I have to roll the windows down. Night traffic is easy to see because of headlights, but I may run over a pedestrian some day.

Just something to consider. If 50% is legal in ohio, then I say do that and keep proof in you glove compartment.

nope no tint on them at all now so should be easy and i know how dark you are talking. a dealer in the area had a 2011 gt500 used and it had the darkest tint i have ever seen on it. windshield and everything. let me find a photo cause it was sick and i love that dark dark tint but guaranteed i get pulled over lol

ROFL that tint is absurd. I can only imagine how many wrecks I would get in trying to drive with that. "Sorry officer, I didn't see those 8 people back there."

Back Side Windows Must allow more than 32% of light in.

Restricted Colors The tint color(s) of RED AMBER are not legal by state law.
Side Mirrors No restrictions.
Certificate Requirements Manufacturers of film do NOT need to certify the film they sell in the state.

thanks. i should print these out and walk to the police station and issue a citizens ticket for their cars. blackout on all windows except driver and front passenger with 20% on driver and passenger and fairly dark windsheilds.

I'm pretty sure the law is above that law

Just like you can't put a siren on top of your car and pull people over.

actually a citizen can call an officers equipment into question while it is at the station if that citizen is following the rules of the law. the town i am talking about doing this to just got busted for radar fraud by a guy who asked for their recent calibration sheets. they were registering about 10 mph too high.
