2002 mustang gt convertible tint question

I was quoted $120 to do mine. It would have been cheaper but they have to use a special process to remove the rear tint because of the heating elements. But does yours already have tint?
Regardless, mine are dark as hell. It was like that when I bought it, and to be honest it took some real getting used to. Late at night or in early mornings the side view is practically non-existent and completely black. To see house numbers at night I have to roll the windows down. Night traffic is easy to see because of headlights, but I may run over a pedestrian some day.
Just something to consider. If 50% is legal in ohio, then I say do that and keep proof in you glove compartment.

actually a citizen can call an officers equipment into question while it is at the station if that citizen is following the rules of the law. the town i am talking about doing this to just got busted for radar fraud by a guy who asked for their recent calibration sheets. they were registering about 10 mph too high.
