Default Good price for tint?

I took my '98 to a local + reputable tint shop today for an estimate for the rear window, the guy told me $60 for it. Does this sound like a good price? Or should I be able to get it cheaper elsewhere?

FWIW this guy is supposed to be one of the best in my area for our curved rear windows

Sounds like a good price to me if he's one of the best in your area. I paid $180 for my tint, 20% all around (except front) and I live in Nebraska.

I had my car done about a month ago. $125 for 20% on the sides and rear glass. An additional $50 to get 50% on the entire windshield.

$60 for just the back glass is probably about right. Certainly not over priced.

I paid $165 for 3M installed with a lifetime warranty. As long as I don't scratch it or anything, they'll fix whatever might go wrong down the road.

I have paid more, for less; and less for a lot less...
