Default Weather stripping coming off bottom of rear glass

I've got a 2004. I was cleaning the rear windshield and noticed the weather stripping along the bottom is coming off a little. It's not bad and sagging, it's just detached from the glass in a small area. For the most part, water still runs over the stripping and under the decklid to drain the correct way. But some of the water is taking the path between the stripping and glass so I'm not sure if it is getting into anything or not. If that makes sense. How much of a problem is it that the weatherstripping is coming off there and is there a simple fix like a certain glue I could use or anything?

Not many new edge cars that have the original back glass that isn't happening to.

Pull it off until you get to where it still adhering, clean out the track in the strip and the window glass with soap and water (use Q-tips to get all the gunk out), then alcohol, and let it dry (use a hair dryer to speed things up).

Place some weather strip adhesive in the strip's track and stick ii back onto the glass. Use masking tape to hold it until the adhesive cures.

Getting it clean is the most important part of this procedure, if the track and glass are not squeaky clean like new you will be wasting your time...

Thanks for the quick replies, that sounds like a plan.

edit for anyone else who has this problem: Followed Cliffy's post and everything is perfect now. Super easy job if you take your time, I mean the hardest part was cleaning the old gunk out so that the stripping and glass could bond again.
