I'd build it myself. I'm thinking just a rebuild with good clutches, and a few of those other little mods I've heard help a lot.

now when you race 1/4 mile do you put ur auto in d and go or do you drop her in low and go though 2nd and third with od turned off??? bout to go to the strip but dont know how to lauch an auto

The stock 4r70w is actually very strong. I'd replace the spiral O-ring for a spiral retainer if you plan on taking it over 6000rpm. Other than that it will hold a lot of power.

Traction control OFF and Overdrive HAS TO BE TURNED OFF. If you leave it on and shift into 4th you might as well kiss the trans goodbye. Just keep the trans in "D"

uhhh how the hell do you launch with no converter hahaha.... i never have overdrive on but why should i kiss it goodbye if its in overdrive?

You will blow out O/D. O/D is a smaller band then the rest of the gears are it cant handle as much.
