MCxqubed.. it rained all day today for the first time in a while.

Wannabegearhead.. 35mph hour driving, around a blind corner, in the pouring rain, with someone who wanted to turn left but didn't like to use signals. I veered off the road and smashed into a pole so that I didn't cause injury to anyone that didn't need to be injured.

I swerved my 85 vette across a lane of highway to avoid a dog once...at 65mph. *** end came around and I slide sideways for a while, then backed it into some brush perfectly between 2 poles....butt pucker X10

OMG bro, that is my worst car nightmare for sure.

I'm so glad you're ok. I never want to see my Mustang like that. I hope you can work out something with the insurance company.

Who knows maybe a Cobra is in your futrure. Closing one door always affords the opportunity for a new and exciting one to open.

I did pretty much the same damage to mine in the rain. It wasnt totaled and the shop put the front of another stang on it. Cant even tell that the car was hit. Look into that. It will work out.

When you say they put another front on did they cut off the front frame rails and re weld from another car? If this is the route the OP goes make sure you take it to a VERY reputable frame shop otherwise its gonna be all jazzed up when its done.

Yea, it was from the windshield cowl up. +1 on the reputable shop. It took 4 months for mine to be finished but they didnt take the easy way in slapping everything back together.
