Whats the fattest tire size i can get on a 18x8.5 wheel?

You dont want them to wide or it will affect handling as you probably know if you read jazzers thread. I presonally like the look of 245s on my 17x9 rims, and thats 1/2" bigger then your rims obviously.

I run Nitto 315 on a 17x 10.5 rim on my 97 Cobra and 99 GT without rolling fenders, Im lowered and NO rubbing at all.
Quad shocks on 97 are pretty darn close but those can be flipped if I need more clearance but so far good.
Even taking the car side way
No rubbing yet
