Default Guys With Off Road H-Pipes Help

Okay, so I have an off road H pipe and ever since I have had it on it has hung really low. As in, if I am looking underneath the car straight across I can see the entirety of the 2 1/2 inch pipe. Pretty sure it shouldn't be hanging down this low. So, my question for you guys is, what brand of H pipe do you have and how low does it hang?

mines the same, it's a bbk. I know the guy i bought my car from said it was for a 96-98 cobra, not for a 2000 gt, not sure if that makes a difference or not. I'm not worried about it tho i have lt's and a new xpipe to put on once i get unlazy.

I had the same problem with my BBK h pipe. It actually hung a hair lower than my BBK long tubes. I hated that so i had a shop tuck everything up (only cost $50) spot weld some of the exhaust leaks, and gained about 1.5" clearance.

it might just be that way but what you can do is get your car jacked up and put it on stands then loosing the bolts for it put a jack underneath it and jack it up then tighten everything again and it should stay at that height...if your not having major scraping problems then i wouldnt worry bout it

I have already raised it as much as I can. And I have been having major scraping issues ever since I lowered the car. Front bumper has no problems clearing, but my exhaust catches on just about everything.

I have BBK LT's and BBK O/R Hpipe. Installed all the same time. With Long Tubes the H-Pipe is way shorter. Mine doesn't hang down at all. If you have short tubes or stock exhaust headers, that may be part of the issue. You didn't say whether you have LT's or not.
