Exclamation High RPM burning smell

When I take my car to 75+mph more so when I'm getting on it rather than a steady acceleration I notice a burning smell in the cabin even with the fans/air conditioning in the off position, I'm not squealing the tires, have a relatively recent fluid flush on everything coolant, power steering, oil etc... 114k some odd miles on my 2001 GT 5 speed. my tire wear is normal so i know its not coming from the tires, but its a similar smell to a flat tire on the freeway. any ideas? It might be important to mention my exhaust cuts off right after the catties under the driver seat but idk if thats it because the smell is new
