Default Should I change my order? (Koni STR.T content)

Ordered a pair of these from summit but they are on backorder till mid sept. I've seen a few guys go with the foxbody struts since they are the same just shorter. Should I stick with the ones on order (Sn-95) struts or go with the foxbodys? My car is lowered on H&R supersports with one iso taken out. The car will also be getting Steeda X2 balljoints installed whenever I get my struts.

Just wait for them. If fox body shocks and struts would work on a sn95 properly, don't you think they would have used them from factory. Fox bodies are not only lower than the sn95's and have less suspension travel, they are also much lighter and te shocks and struts would not be valved for the heavier bodies.

I'm not sure how true it is, but i recently heard that the STR.T's may not be strong enough in the long run for a drop like the H&R Super Sports provide. That combined with a 1/4"-1/2" more of a drop in the front with the Steeda X2 balljoints.

Well if you install the spacer like you're actually supposed to, it won't change the ride height. And I've heard nothing but good things about them. Links to them going bad?

No specific links teej. I just remember hearing that they maybe kind of undervalved for more extreme drops. I'm not sure how true that really is though.

Yea, I'll do some research on this and see what's going on with these.

What I've seen is that the valving is similar to that of the koni yellows at full soft. What that's like, I havent a clue. But they should be fine with lowering springs.
