New Car, warranty, better chassis, new engine (more initial power), better interior (quality wise), looks as good.....new 5.0 is my choice.

warranty dont mean crap if you mod it. id go with the cobra, you would save alot off cash, and you can mod the hell out of it and not have to worry about the warranty

Id say cobra. 9 grand less you can put into mods like a better s/c and it would destroy the new 5.0 if so.

Agreed bc who is actually gonna leave it stock for that many miles? Go for that cobra. Ive heard about problems with the driver side head on 2003 cobras and overheating issues and that problem was suppose to be solved on the 04 which is what you're looking at and 2011 was the 1st year for that 5.0 kinda like the test run and a few ppl have been having issues witht the tranny, and cylinder #8 i think with the new 5.0 so after this test run/2011 they gather all the reported problems and fix them on the years to come enough about all that though go for the cobra.

That being said in the world of sports cars, muscle cars, and pony cars people will buy cars from the 60s,70s,80s,90s, etc... it is 8 years old but look at the value on it when I got my gt for $17 k over 6 years ago the used 03/04 cobras were going for 25k+ and look years later look at the value its holding. its an 8year old valuable car that will hold its personal and retail value. I think the prices on the used 5.0s will drop in a few years.
