If doing 18's you could do a 335 Nitto 555R on a 18x10 wheel for the rear since they run a bit narrow. It would look bada$$ as well.

Have you looked into the Toyo Proxes TQ drag radial? I hear a lot of of good things about it.

Well i don't want to run a drag radial because i drive the car in rain/shine. If it was just a weekend car and i didn't have to drive 3 hours from home to school every few weeks i would put DRs on it in a second!

Don't buy from cruizenconcepts. They blow. Slow delievery and bad service.

I got my wheels from wheelreplicas and love them.

BTW...I've driven back to Columbia from St. Louis in the rain with my NT05Rs. I had no problems at all going 70mph.

One thing to keep in mind is that tires for 18" rims are going to be more expensive than their 17" counterpart.

I know...another reason im not wantin DRs...with the tread wear. Im set on 18s in the rear...i mean my 555s lasted for quite awhile (got them like 3 summers ago) so i know i couldn't keep DRs that long...

Actually, the Nitto 555R's last pretty damn long, and they will stick better than any street tire. I've had mine on for over 2 years now, and they've barely worn.

Well i mean its really just weather...i just don't want to get caught in a HARD rain with them. Id hate to spend the money on 18in DRs and then spend the money on body work when i hydroplane lol (im just cautious lol)

I honestly can't tell the difference from a 17 vs an 18" rim from a glance. And I was running 17s up front and 18s out back. Now I'm running 17x10.5's out back. Ultimately its your call, but 18's are going to be heavier and make you run slower plus tires are more expensive. I personally really like the Nitto 555R's as well. They have given me much better wet traction than my previous tires which were a normal street tire.
