stay away from even swapping out a stock PI manifold unless you have a power adder or crazy n/a setup

Yea... I dont think people really realize how well the PI intake flows. Its the heads/cams that need the work, not necessarily the intake.

Saw a dyno with it on a near stock PI gt and it lost mad power and tq untill about 5800 rpms lol...and even then, it just kinda leveled off.

However it did look like it worked great on a Heads/ cam 4.6...car went from 255 rwhp to like 305 rwhp.

Its basically a bolt on PI motor....stock H/C.

As you can see it did nothing but lose a bunch of power and torque on this car so I am baffled to how anyone with a near stock motor can like this intake....lol

Anyways, I hope it will be a completely different story on my boosted car...hoping the PI meets the edelbrock by 4500 rpms at the latest and starts climbing from there.

I swear its the opposite of that. Seems like you would almost need an intake/plenum setup that will feed the intake enough air/

That dyno car above is running a PI style upper and those are the worst results imaginable haha.

Check out this sheet now with Heads and cams on a 2v..and a proper upper, not a straw to suck through.

See how it didnt lose anywhere near as much bottom end and made up for it like crazy above 4500?

I almost think you need a 6061 or an edelbrock upper no matter what. Its weird that the car didnt lose anywhere near as much low end...I guess the heads and cams do make a huge differance.
