If you want to paint your wheels with a rattle can, other than to experiment with colors, use Duplicolor's wheel coating. It lays on nicely and the system has a clear coat that really makes 'em shine.

I have used it on several cars over the years and found it to be a solid product, it holds up as-good-as/better than most OEM finishes...

I found this to be kinda cool using plasti dip
http://www.plastidip.com/blog/2011/0...etteforum-com/
For those people that want stripes this could be a way over vinyl as a temp thing.Props goes to Corvetteforums.com member for his idea.

This stuff is some pretty cool s*** and you can buy kits to make custom colors.
I guess you would just spay it from a paint gun as normal paints for custom colors.

OP cool thread

I fell in love with this stuff. I removed the wheels, cleaned the wheels with wheel cleaner, than dried them with a microfiber, and sprayed them. I didn't mask anything. I did my first coat light, than followed up with 5 more coats. I went though 4 cans, but this stuff is so epic. The overspray was easy to rub off of the tires, which is why I didn't mask. At first they looked unevenly coated, but now that they're further into their cure they look better.

And does this stuff wipe right off? Or what do you have to use to wipe it off?
