DoH!

Well i went and got the car weighed I took the spare & jack out and all the other junk like cds and mats and the weight was 1510KG or 3329 LBS but I had about 45LBS of fuel left or a bit over 1/4 of a tank . I will just go back to the dump with about 5 lbs of fuel left and then get a printout if they will & I should have a valid argument to take to the DMV and maybe keep some money in my pocket.

PS It was free to weigh my car I just took an old printer with me to toss away lol.

Take out those seats. Especially the passenger seat. It's 30lbs easy. Slide it all the way forward, take off 2 bolts. Slide it all the way back. Take off the front 2 bolts. And pull it out. That's all there is to it.

For the back there are 2 little plastic buttons under the seat cushion. Each is about 1 foot from the edge of the seat. You can use a screwdriver to push them in. Once they're both pushed in the bottom cushion will lift right out. Then the back part is only held in by 2 small bolts near the floor.

That together with less fuel should do it for you.
