Default Pegging Gauges

Hey guys,

I've noticed that from the last probably 10 times that I've started my car, about 3 of the times, my tach kind of stuck, it stayed at 0 for a second or so, and tonight leaving my uncles I watched for it todo this, and all the gauges pegged. Could this be an indicator of my battery being about ready to take a dump on me? Or Could it mean bigger problems? Car runs great as always.

Kind of worried, but more curious as to what you guys say.

Everytime you start you car the gauges should do a full sweep if they don't then there may be something acting up.

if the gauges sweep on start up, get your battery tested, usually the culprit

sweeping guages is a sign of a electrical problem, or i forget what fuse it is, if you pull it out/its blown the guages will sweep. the fuse holds the memory for the trip meter.
