Default loud air sucking noise

Ever since I put my longtubes on i can now hear my air intake more, whenever i'm giving it a little gas i hear a somewhat high pitched noise from the air coming thru my intake. any idea why i can just now hear this? and any way i can get it to go away? it's kind of annoying to be honest.

You switch to a different TB/Plenum or still running stock?

ported plenum with a roush tb. it's been on there for a while now. think it's the tb blade making the noise?

LT's escaping the air more quickly > air coming in more quickly.

Where is your air filter? I had what I believed was an air leak in my 04 GT. But I had a Densecharger CAI with the filter right outside the passenger fender hole. When slightly on the gas I could hear a sucking noise what seemed to be at the firewall on the passenger side. I jacked the car up, took the wheel off and had my fiance stab at the throttle and it would quickly suck air. Knowing there is no component able to block the noise from traveling up over the fender liner and to the firewall, I was convinced it was the filter making the noise. I did not, however, have LT's on my car. Stock manifolds, catted X and magnapack CB.

Also, check for leaks in the exhaust.

I like hearing my exhaust, not this sucking noise. I guess I'll just get used to it lol.

Hi, im not sure if your throttle body has an air bleed screw on it or not but I had the same loud air sucking noise issue when I was still running the stock throttle body. It worked its way out and drove me nuts. Email me at madatmk3@yahoo.com if you would like some pics of the screw im talking about.
