U-joints? Problem when I take off..

U-joints? Problem when I take off..
Ok so when i take off from a stoplight or something i hear this "clunk." It doesn't happen when i shift and if im easy on my take off then it doesn't do it.
I crawled under the car and the driveshaft was tight had no play in it. What do you think i should do??
Im afraid to drive this car hard with it making this noise...
