In car AutoX Video

Cool vid.
For the autocrossers in here, is it normal for racers to go off course once in a while? I ask because in the past, I've watched some videos where I thought the driver should have gone one direction but they went another and it turns out they were right..lol

Yup, pretty normal. It usually happens when your car does something your not expecting. When you hear people talk about unpredictability of suspension, that has a lot to do with it. my first autocross i still had a stock 8.8 SRA and on one specific series of curves the rear end would just go completely opposite and i killed the same cone every time lol.
once i started to mod it with control arms and shocks that went away for the most part.

It happens in autocross and on the track. I've been off-roading in my C5Z on just about every track I've been to. You either push the car over its limit or you push past the talent of the driver... for me, the latter seems to happen more often.

I usually run Michelin Pilot Sports but in that video I had my Goodyear F1's on because I was to lazy to change the rims to run that AutoX. Someday I hope to afford real sticky tires. But for now street tires will have to do
