Default UPDATE

Not really in the mood for any kind of sarcasm. I need to vent. I'm pissed off like no other right now. All I know is this shop better fix my $hit. Long story short, got my clutch installed and was happy as a fat kid in a candy store. I walk outside to my B this morning and I see a huge fawking dent on the bootom of my door.
NOW HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?

Obviously this isn't supposed to be like this. I called the shop and told them of my finding. The guy said to bring it in to check it out. I asked about their insurance poilcy and he said that I would have to speak to the owner about it. I fawking pissed right now. Then after I get out of class, my car is beeping on the inside like when a door isn't closed all the way. I go home to disconnect the battery and lo and behold, for some fawking reason it's rusted. Now it's loose and can come off with me pulling it up, even when I tightend the bolt.

Why would they have the car up in the air? They we're just changing out the shifter.
That sucks to hear though man, hopefully you can get it all straightened out soon!

+1 on moonshine, unless the just swung that door open really hard and it hit a post on the lift.

Yeah they must've lowered it down from the lift while the door was open and it probably crushed against something. What idiots... They better fix it or there will be hell to raise

+1 on going to autozone and getting a cheap terminal. NBD

My '03 GT has that same dent, banged out with a rubber mallet to be much less noticeable. The PO told me that an alignment shop had open the door into a chock block left on the alignment rack track. They gave him $100 to forget about it...

They probably broke the battery terminal while disconnecting/reconnecting it because it was corroded all to crap--but it couldn't possibly have gotten that corroded and nasty looking from anything they did..

Sucks to hear dude. The door definitely seems to be their fault. The battery terminal seems to be an issue that's been there, and just not noticed. Clean off the terminal on the battery and get a new connector like others have suggested. Depending on the electrical stuff you have in your car, a digital terminal might be something to look into if it's on the correct terminal.

But it does suck though man. How's the clutch feel btw?
