98 cobra fuel
So, quick question...
From what I understand, my car is the bastard child of ford fuel systems. Yay.
I've read that the aviator/supercar pumps are in fact a direct replacement to the factory pump. BUT. Those pumps were designed with a baffled tank with no basket. Now, id really love to keep my stock tank. As far as the 'sloshing' goes....whatever. The basket, however, my be modified to collect an contain more FUEL to feed the pump. Basically perforate the basket with a drillbit to prevent possible lean condition under half tank.
So ultimately, my question is...with the perforated basket, will I safely be able to use this pump and my stock tank?
Thanks in advance
