Should i trade my 04 gt for this car?
I owe nothing on my semi modded 2004 gt that runs good but doesn't have near the power of this car. my car has 61k miles this one has 28k miles its an anniversary edition with 6 speed manual. The dealer is asking 25k non negotiable. I figure they give me 9k for mine and i put another 5k down and finance about 11k....what do you guys think?

Agreed!!! you will be paying alot more than you think if you trade that Gt for that termi I myself wouldnt trade a paid off car for a longterm car note. All of that money spent monthly can be used to save to mod the paid off car you have. especially if you have 5k already to spend. Build your car that you own. And have a fast GT owning a cobra want put anymore chest hairs on your chest. Build what you have since you own it already. thats like getting rid of a paid off credit card in place of one with a large balance on it. just my opinion.

Yeah 9k is to much to expect for my car i'd be lucky to get 7k for my car its clean though...we will see. I dont like going into debt as i have no debt at this time, but i really like this car!!!

I'd bet not even that high... unless they are going to rework it into the price of the Cobra. Just as an example for you: when I bought my Explorer, I was on the lot with the white Roush in my sig. They asked if I was trading it in. So I asked to see the numbers (wasn't going to anyway, was just curious). They offered $900 on trade in - and specifically mentioned they took the "Roush" aspect into account. I laughed and told them the tires cost more than that, so no thanks.

There are plenty of cobras out there for much less than that one. I get that its a 10th anniversary car, but this isnt exactly the season to be buying a performance car either. Especially a rwd one. So make sure they know you know what you're looking at and what your talking about before they start jabbering away about how special this car is and what not.
