I would look for a better deal and a five speed would be the better choice, IMO.

To me, you don't buy a performance car and get a vert unless it's just a cruiser.
I'd call on that '97 and see what blower it has. You don't need a PI head swap to make power. Battery in the trunk suggests someone at least understands weight transfer... it might be a super nice install and the dealer just doesn't know what they have.

+1 on this. What would it hurt to give em a call anyways? But only thing is is when i went to look at the 97, if it were me i would tear into the car good. And by that i mean pull a spark plug or 2 on each bank and c what they look like, pull the trans dip stick and oil dipstick and check both of these fuilds. And then when you drive it pay very close attention to every noise the car makes. It looks like a real clean car tho.

I'd say neither, personally. I'm not a fan of verts too much, and it'sa 11 year old vert that could have leaks. And the 97 that's supercharged is a big 50/50 risk. It must've been supercharged.

Ive made a decision, its neither of these. I will post pics later next week when I pick it up. Its a 98 Gt Red.
