Unhappy How can I make 350-400?

Hey everyone I have always been a 302 guy now I will be attempting my wifes car which is a 97 Cobra I have been told by some guy that I have a 4v motor. I am not sure but... If that is the case what routes can I go to build this kind of power I am looking for? I will be going on deployment in about a month and the money I make on deployment will go towards the build so I would like to stay around 5k or less not a track car just looking to make some good power. I still need it operate as a street car . Can someone please point me in a good direction.

Full N/A build, Blower, or Nitrous. Latter being the cheapest, middle being the best, first being the most expensive.

That engine will handle 400hp at the flywheel no problem.

a blower is s/c. i would personally go turbo. more power with less boost.

Slap a procharger on it and youll make your 400rwhp, p1sc kit should do the trick and comes intercooled. What ever you do make sure you delete the IMRC before they cause you a headache.

I too am looking to get 400rwhp from my 4v.At some point next year I will more than likely install a s/c on my car.So I agree with everyone else on going FI.

What are something that I should look into getting with this s/c. I see a lot of people posting about different intakes and heads and cams and stuff I wish I knew more or just wasn't so thick lol.

I really appreciate all the patience and assistance. TY!

you dont need a built motor to make 400rwhp.. just grab a blower, 40lb injectors.. and a hand held tuner and get it tuned
