she's alive!!!
Got my trans together and in tonight, FINALLY!. I had an issue yesterday with first gear not working and the o/d light flashing, but turns out it was just the rubber seal that goes in the connector for the range sensor, it flipped up and covered one of the pins. got that figured out along with a small leak tonight, drove it around tonight and it shifts perfect! Not bad for my first 4r70 rebuild ;).
on a side note, at this point I prefer the transgo kit to alan's shift kit, the 1-2 shift on this feels lacking compared to the trans go. |

It is much better working on your car by yourself. I dont see how people that take their car into a shop to get work done and have the same pride in your car.
I am also quite exacted to install your old valve body into my transmission! |
