I dont need a mach1000. I need a mach 460. What sounds like happened is f150 and mustang had the same stereo headunit only difference were the plugs in the back. And I didnt know that, therefore buying the headunit thinking it would work.

That looks identical to the back of the 02 mach 460 I'm installing. What did you have before? I have a 2000 that had a double din (radio and separate cd) with the amp mounted to the floor below the cd player. I got a real good deal on an entire 460 system and I love a challenge so I'm going that route. Let me tell you it's been a pain in the butt so far. Good luck with your install.

I had a mach460 stereo in the car to begin with.. What I think happened is this..

There is the headunit correct, that plugs into three plugs. and those plugs plug into another strand of wire.. Well what I think happened is I am missing the wires/plugs that plug into the headunit then into the other wires.. Any idea where I would find that!?

Thats what the back of the mach 460 head unit looks like. Seems like the correct unit to me. All of the connectors seem to look correct. Do you need the stock unit? If so, pm me and we can workout something.

From your pic, and the op's pic, you can tell they're different plugs.

That looks like what I need, but I have a 2004 I heard some things changed like the 04 had a "sat" button and the phone button? Also, it looks like I'll be one plug short?
