Delrin Bushings for IRS
Well I've been really contemplating doing this before my engine goes in. Every time my dad gets in the car and hears the infamous "cobra clunk," he tells me that i need to get the bushings. Does the clunk go away 100%, or is it still there? Also, how is ride quality changed? I heard the only difference is road noise.
A few months ago I remember someone on here trying to sell his bushing kit. Does anyone remember who that was? I just don't have the money right now to pay for the Full Tilt Boogie Racing bushing kit at full price right now. If anyone knows of anyone selling a kit, please let me know.

I can't answer your question, but I would throw this out there....
I've replaced a LOT of delrin bushings in after market parts because they just don't wear well. They are too hard and behave as plastic when it comes to shock, impact and temperature. The ones I pull usually have comparatively few miles, versus urethane.

Delrin IS plastic. Thats why it behaves that way. But it has a lot of upsides. The Full Tilt kit and the competitive Maximum Motorsports kit are very good deals money wise. I work with machined delrin with my company and literally looked into using company discounts at machine shops to get kits made up and its hard to beat the price of those kits.

I have the steeda bushings in my car and there is no noise and no wheel hop. Your best best is to buy the ftbr diff bushings for now till you can get the rest of the kit. The steeda kit is nice but now were near the quality of the ftbr kit.
