Default 150+ shot on plastic intake?

Not a good idea, right? after my forged motors in next summer i would like to up the shot and would really like a 200. the fuel system will get upgraded, just really doubting i'd be somewhat safe to spray that much thru the intake. if not, any aluminum ones that would work good with it? it will be a forged motor with cams and i've been toying with the idea of the eddy intake. my car never sees below 4k anyways with my converter, so a loss of power below that doesn't matter. any opinions?

You can do it! You can do it allllll niiiiight loooong!

You just spray it, and if you blow your intake than you blow your intake lol.

I have heard good things about the trickflow trackheat intake. The the PP typhoon is junk from what i have heard...

That is all, good day sir.

yeah i wont be running the typhoon. my only real choices are the track heat, bullitt, and edelbrock. I really like the eddy intake just because there's not really anywhere for the fuel to puddle, unlike the stocker.

it's only bad if you get a nitrous backfire....but then a 50 shot would probably blow it up

Id go with the trickflow intake. Supposed to have very good flow and have good numbers throughout the powerband. It might be more exspensive initially, but after you get the plenum and throttle body, itl be about the same price.

The reason the stock intake is limited to a 150 or so is because higher than that allows the fuel to puddle and ignite in the intake. You could maybe get away with the stocker if you ran a progressive controller and only sprayed a 200 shot at the very top end of the rpm range 6K+. This way you have more airflow throught the intake to keep it from puddling as bad.
