Not at all...you guys just need to figure something else out. I pay less than you to insure two cars (multi-car discount = clutch)...

^+1.

I got quoted by progressive for like $220 a month for my 08 4.0 Then I checked with state farm (parents have them too) and they gave me a good student discount plus a safe driver discount every year or so. Right now it's just over $410ish every 3 months. Saved a ton, and I even get rental costs coverage.

Progressive wouldn't even consider price matching, the rep on the phone said, verbatim, "You are a teenager with a sports car, you would be lucky to find these rates anywhere else, and your clean record counts for nothing having only driven for 3 years." I hung up.

Weird, state farm wanted over $150 a month progressive quoted me $95. I'm 23 with one small accident at 18. No tickets though. Not sure what my mileage is, but I don't think I'm getting anything close to 30. haha

I have Geico. Full coverage on my Cobra and liability only on the accord. The multi-car discount is massive. And yes, these are in my name only, not my parents.

Yeah that number should go down once you get the good student discount, and the yearly safe driver discount. I just paid mine this week, and it came out to exactly $375 for the next 3 months...

This is full coverage though, and being a paranoid man I got the highest liability and personal medical coverage they offered lol. Progressive was quoting me with a middle of the road liability and medical/personal/etc coverage... I was going to go with them, but honestly, their attitude put me off.
