Default SVT FOCUS FUEL PUMP

Guys i need some serious help...

I need to know if a ford SVT fuel pump is a direct swap to my tank now. The OEM motorcraft pumps are $360... I don't have that kind of money for something, especially when i'm finding out that SVT focus pumps sell for like $100 from someone on svtp or something?

I know half of you guys use them on your blown cars.

Can someone please give me fuel pump 101 class?

Thanks guys.

Some of them take a different plug to make work, most pumps will come with the plug and all you would need to do is cut off your old one and install the new one. Torment wise the are the exact same size and fit.in the.stock.basket.

Thank you. I think I'm just going to buy the airtrax pump for $180 and get this thing fixed. I hear walbro makes that pump and it's a lot cheaper than the oem ford
Motorcraft Pump for $370.

What do you guys think about that?

Its a direct replacement, you take the old pump out, put the new pump in, plug it and and go.

Does anybody know where the cheapest place is for the svt? What part number is it? What year does it come off of?

What is the fuel sump and pickup? Does that come with the pump?

I just dont understand. They sell pumps for 150 that supposedly come with 'everything' (whatever that means) and then they sell pumps for 100 with just the pump. Which do I need?
