i know a guy that will sells these for 120 brand new in box. was curious if anyone has upgraded their's or if its even noticeable ovet the stock ones.

I have rockford fosgate punch series and imo they are some of the best speakers on the market. And yes they are definitely noticable over the stock ones especially if u get new tweeters. I would say the pioneer speakers u are talking about are good speakers too

Your going to want to go with component speakers in the doors and in the back, unless, you just run brand new wires and drop the mach 1000 system because you are only getting half the power you really would out of the speaker. If you want to drop it you can throw a nice set of speakers in there for the same price you would components that will sound so clean. The mach sound systems had that downfall and were a b**** to change over to get it perfectly right. The right way to do it would be to drop it all except for the sub that it has and just run new speaker wire from the head unit because it will give you better clarity and better volume unamp'd than you would with it amp'd to the mach system amp's.
