Yeah, I'm not feeling too bad, just a little frustrated, but its part of the challenge Getting new shocks and struts soon, along with doing my full exhaust around xmas. I know I don't need more power, but its going to be too cold to enjoy the track, but daytime shows are all over right now. I'll make it back out in a few months

do you have any plans for a stall? that'd be the best improvement you could do to the car right now.

The car is my DD, and I'd like to keep it a nice driver, thought about like a 2800-3000 stall, but not sure how much difference I'd feel. I know alot of you guys will say get like a 4000 stall, but I think thats going to be alot more than what I'm looking for. Will an off the shelf converter be ok? and What kind of tune issues will I have to deal with, I know some guys have problems with converters unlocking and stuff.. i.e. 97stanger(I know Im no where near is power levels)...

I know alan at Dirty dog seems to be well known, and has great products.. When the shift kit goes in I've thought about dropping the trans and doing a converter, plus I'd like to drain ALL of the old oil out when I do it.. Is there a need to upgrade my flex plate while I'm at it?

The car is getting shocks and struts no matter what, The stock ones are screaming for help.

no need for a flexplate. I have a dd 3800 and dd my car every single day, even driving it thru winter lol. It's different, yes, and dropped about 2mph city, but not hard at all to drive. the stock stall is rated high, like 2800 i think, it's just tight. that's why nobody recommends anything less than 3500.

also you shouldn't really have any tune issues. I didn't do anything to my tune when i threw in my converter, and it dropped half a second alone.

CT, what size is your stall? (inch wise, and why did you pick that?) and did you add the billet front cover nitrous? My car stalls right around 2300 rpm or so if I just put it in a gear, and get on the gas to lock the converter. Would an aftermarket stall, say like a 3000 stall, be looser until it completely locks up?

Any chance you could take a vid where I can see your gauges (both normally crusing, and hammering it?) I just think a 3800 stall I'd feel like I'm beating on my car... I REALLY feel my torque pick up at about 3300 RPM... so If you dont lock up until 3800, you wont be seeing any of this below that at WOT... I'm honestly looking for it to be very well street mannered, but give me a jump from where I am when I'm looking to have fun..
