Has anyone ever powdercoated their blower? Or seen one powdercoated?

Black chrome WOULD be pretty slick..

But one thing to worry about is the internals.. they HAVE to come out for bead blasting, AND for the oven.. Thats why earlier I asked how easily/far apart these things come apart, I dont have a headunit here to look at :O.. May be a good time to have a shop or you rebuild your Headunit sense its apart anyways.. but it'd be worth it for sure!

They come apart very easy just when you rip em apart need new seals no matter what, and just have to pay extra close attention to how it comes apart. And yeah getting it upgraded would be a great idea, but when i send it to vortech it need to be in one piece or else they treat it like it is broke then it costs more and not only that with a upgrade it includes a new volute so the one i just powder coated would get taken off anyways

If you can order the seals to replace, and do the work yourself.. I say give it a shot!

I think that would look awesome. Black chrome with all the piping being powder coated black... definitely go for it. I can't see how that would have any heat related issues.
