Default 4.6 to a 302/351

I have a 96 mustang with the 4.6 2v, 5 speed and I was thinking about swaping a carbed 302 or 351 into it. Was wondering what kind of problems I would run into by doing this, any help will be great. Also will everything bolt up?

Seems like a lot of time and effort, why not just find a 4V or a 99 or newer 2V?

Dropping a carbed pushrod is easy as pie, all u need is a 94-95 5.0 kframe or a k-frame from a 3.8. Motor drops right in, get matchin trans, run holley blue pump for fuel, done. Won't bolt up to your current k-frame though, and the t45 wont bolt to the pushrod.

Going from a fi modular to a carbed push rod is like going from the radial tire back to the stone wheel.

Well I've already got a built 351 laying around that I pulled out of my old foxbody, but I've never messed with a 4.6 before so I was just curious to see how much work would be involved. Thanks everyone!

It will take a lot of work. Nothing will be used from your current setup. Search ZW99GT's previous threads he made. He swapped in a 408W into his 99 GT. Took a ton of work and a ton of money.
