Crashed my 2000 Mustang, have questions...

Yea since you owe 7K on the car....just let it go....it would be perfect for what I need but I wouldn't pay more than 2k for it as it sits for the whole car.
The question is why was your license suspended? If that is not your fault then you can fight that, then prove it wasn't your doing and then the insurance doesn't have a choice after that.....

If anyone is interested in buying this car for 1500 let me know asap. Its now just sitting at a lot in Ohio, I will meet you and you would definitely need to have it towed away. My name is Tristan, number is 313-627-8516 and my email is tri****thefan@gmail.com. You can also find me on Facebook just in case someone thinks Im not who I say I am. I really just want to give this car to someone who knows how to take it apart. Put some use to it.

I literally only had the car for 3 weeks. I plan on getting another though very soon. I use to own a Probe when I was younger and the "probe talk" forum was so helpful with everything dealing with my vehicle. I just figured this site would be just as helpful.

I honestly had no idea my license was suspended. I bought the car with my license, got insurance, and even when I got in the accident the license didn't come up suspended. I found out when I tried to claim it. I had a 5 over ticket two years ago in the city of Detroit. I sent the ticket in, because the officer told me all I had to do was send in 25 bucks and the ticket. Did that, and didn't think twice about it again. Apparently the ticket was never paid for, I ended up paying 150 to clear that 2 year old 5 over ticket. If anyones familiar with the metro detroit area I was driving down Jefferson during the summer. They will literally pull you over for going 1 over the speed limit. My license is all paid for now, the insurance is still refusing to pay out. They want me to pay it in full but I refuse, I will just make my monthly payments, and get another car.

If I were you I would get some legal advice regarding your options. The finance company wants you to pay in full due to, you no longer have collateral on the loan. You totaled the collateral. They will probably in the end take this to court to get their money.
