Default Thinking Of Buying this 04...Advise Please!!!!

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum Been a ford guy my whole life. Crown vics and stangs v8 FTW!

I am really thinking about buying this 04 gt

http://verackamotors.com/profile.asp...zip=&distance=

I test drove it today and it drives very nice, Very smooth, clutch is nice. power is there

I feel that this price is very steep, what are your thoughts on this car? I am worried that it has an intake and a couple of "ebay special" decals on it (scoop and the trunk).

Thanks in advanced!@

Couldn't find the edit button-

Reason why I am worried about it is knowing how myself drives a car that has been slightly modified (beat the snot outta it) makes me think that the previous owner could have done the same and espically with those junk decals makes me think it could be a jackass....Who is not gonna wanna floor it to hear that engine roar everytime. I know I do.

Let alone he could even throw that much down on a 2011 GT 14k? some 2011 GTs with like 20k miles are like 18-20k seriously that GT is a massive rip off

As you said, other than the K&N CAI (a complete waste of money BTW) and silly stickers it looks dead stock to me--it even has the stock "monster truck" springs. Which means that other than burning up the clutch there's not much "damage" the PO could have done in 35k miles--the stock tune won't let the engine be damaged.

All that said, $13k is WAY out of line--I paid $12k for my '03 GT Premium with 30k miles, 5 years ago in December of 2006.

You can buy '06 GTs for $13k here in NE Florida...

I counted at least three K&N stickers too--so that's like another 30 to 45 HP right?
