I never win anything, ever. Sometimes I question the validity of those contests, but I guess they are true, maybe I should just play more, after all, you can't win if you don't play.
The contest was sponsored by Dockers, to be honest I didn't believe it when I got the notice in the mail. As for the taxes, that's the sweetest part: the prize included a check that covered the taxes. All I was out was the money for TT&L.
@Boris91, I'm 22 & just graduated college last year. I def get some funny looks when ppl see me driving a 5.0
screw you lol what a deal!! but i would have got the boss for the 5k more and dealer fees etc etc i think they would have worked a deal for you but to each his own!
@ Explosive: When I went to the dealer to pick a car they had one Comp Orange Boss 302 left in the showroom. At $42k MSRP I was thinking of just applying the cost of the GT and paying the difference... but then I saw the $5k dealer markup and othe BS fees and figured the GT would be the smarter choice. And the head sales guy actually tried to talk me out of it like he didn't want to sell it to me, prob cuz I am pretty young.
Yea I know how that goes, I'm young too. Sucks because I'd say us younger car guys are more serious than most people wandering around the dealership.
