Default Magnapacks:: X or H mid?

Well, My LT's will be here tuesday, and I ordered some magnapacks. I'm stuck between running an H pipe, or an X pipe for my mid..I've seen videos of both with these mufflers, and kind of like the sound of both! either will be Catless, mostly because of how much cheaper catless mids are.

I also want a mid pipe that won't create too many nightmares trying to install, as far as fitment and such.

H pipe = Muscle Car sound, X pipe = Nascar sound. Choose what you like everyone has their own opinion. I chose X pipe.

I vote X. I only like an H-pipe with flowmasters or mac.

ABSOLUTELY go with the H-pipe (my opinion).
It all really depends upon what sound you are wanting.

I kinda like both on the Magnapacks, the H pipe with them sounds nice and deep, and aggressive, while the X sounds just flat out nasty and is gonna scream at WOT... hmph..

I know the difference between the two.

What brands do you guys like that aren't outrageous expensive and fit well?

I like my BBK mid-pipes. I have had both catted and O/R BBK pipes with NO issues.
I have been running my BBK O/R H-pipe for several months (ProChamber is in the basement).

Do I have to worry about specific mid pipes to fit with the auto trans?

BBK makes garbage as far as im concerned, the "clamshell" design really messes up the sound and makes it "blatty"

Summit Racing, VRS, and Dr Gas all make VERY nice parts IMHO

I like the prices of the summit brand.. But, I've also got a 10% off code to AM... I'll do some more looking around. I also need to order a new tuner, so maybe I'll use my coupon on that
