its been a while since i updated this, i also cant find my progress pics so i snapped a few earlier. the notches and manley valves allowed me to degree the cams in at 107/106 centerline with .060/.056 clearence at minimum. heres some pics:

yea, when i got the heads ported i went on and had that done. the oil pan is a mmr 7qt pan. i also got a windage tray with it, its on the engine now so i can get the cobra oil pick up tube moddified a litttle to clear the windage tray. i need to get my water pump in so i can that used one off. im hoping for 315 rwhp through a auto with a nice wide, flat torque curve. hears nick's video of this build. remember, these are correected numbers and done on a mustang dyno, 330rwhp/329rwtq:

the intake manifold is killing that motor... i cant believe the power is starting to fall after 5700 rpms... with the cams and head work that motor has done to it, that thing could pull HARD to 7000 all day long with a better intake...

if you read the thread i posted on page 1, the stock rev limiter was still in place on that pull and they stut down early. the hp curve isnt even falling yet on that graph. i was guessing 6500-6800 would be the shut off point, i guess we will see when i hit the dyno
