Default 6 bolt or 8 bolt?

Hey guys. One of my friends said that the 2004 mustang gts have 8 bolt crankshafts. Is this true? Also, is there a difference in the number of bolt holes between automatic and manual?

i dont remember the years but some of the manuals got 8 bolt. my buddy's 01 had a 6 bolt though

IIRC Windsors and Cobra's/Mach's used the 8 bolt crank...
