Just ordered this pump http://musclemotors.com/340lph-high-...it-p-1742.html

The guy said it will fit into the fuel hat with very minor changes, he is sending me a link on how to do it and when i get it i will post it, and he also said that i want to drill holes in my canister, the one that is actually in my fuel tank, so more fuel gets to the pump. He did say that this pump will support over 500 rwhp on stock lines and rails so i am excited to get it in

Jeezus this took me forever to find again. I think this a great write up. This guy installed the Aeromotive 340lph pump in his GT tank and has been running it with no problems.

Not yet man, I have been told by many people on svt that i need to buy a modified FPDM even tho i am only gonna be running 1, they said the pump alone draws to many amps and i want to run my BAP with the pump as well, I am piecing together a build and the fuel pump was just a small part of it. Its gonna be a slow build lol

I'm not sure why they're telling you you'll need a different FPDM.

to me it makes sense, because its causing the pumps to go into thermal shut down since the FPDM goes into thermal shut down. With this 340 pump it pulls more amps the the st focus pumps and add a BAP to that and it pulls a ton mmore amps, lemme get the link off svt and show you

Interesting read. Guess it's time to find another FP option.

Haha I know man they convinced me right away, there's a lot of high hp cars on svt, and most of the same guys are very willing to help answer questions which makes it a great info source
