Default Oil catch can for a N/A?

have been reading alot about the oil cans and have seen guys with FI with them but iv never seen them on the N/A's. is anyone running one and recomend it or should i save my money? also iv seen a few poor DIY's, has anyone built one from scratch? would love a link!

im wondering if it really makes a huge difference in engine life/preformance?

thanks guys!

I will not say that they make a "a huge difference in engine life/performance", but they do keep oil vapor out of your engine, which is a good thing.

Our catch can for your car is $99 - 10%, so $90.

I made my own because I get some oil going through my pcv piping. I just got some vacuum hose from the auto store and an air compressor air filter from home depot. Such as below.

Got some fittings for it and that was it. Probably paid less than $20 for mine.

I spent a bit more to build mine. All the local hardware stores had filters for compressors, but most of them say not for oil or the acrylic resevoir say not for synthetic oils. I whent through MSC and got a coalescer filter to pull 99% of all oil and oil vapors out of the system. It may be over kill but I figured it wouldn't hurt.
