i drove an 11 5.0 coupe from the local ford dealer back in the spring and lost the magnet dealer tag the salesman put on the truck! he told me drove it like i stole it and you better believe i did! i got it up to about 85 on the freeway and hit a pretty decent turn at 70 the there went the tag flying off into the woods! lol salesman was pretty steamed when this happened but he said just go back and act like nothing ever happened! then we got a 2012 5.0 vert at the dealership i worked at and i picked it up but the clutch seemed very light on this one maybe because it had like 3 miles when i picked it up but i didnt like how light clutch was but besides that it was great. (11 had a few 1000 miles so maybe it stiffened the clutch up or the 11 was just stiffer idk) but yes very nice cars

I test drove a 2012 5.0. Then I bought it that same day. (see sig)

I used to be a 4.6'er, but man, the 5.0 pulls....and pulls and keeps pulling. It just doesn't run out of breath like the 4.6's did. And the ride is overall very smooth! I love this car.

Great writeup, OP.

Just a friendly heads up....if you end up with the Premium interior, don't drive nekkid. The white stripe in mine is in the pucker zone and you'll leave skidmarks when you un-clench.

Very nice. I drove a 2012 GT Premium myself this past weekend, and I was highly impressed! Would definately love to own one.

Do it...only if you can afford it. I love the car that much. But again, only if you can afford it. The one thing I miss from my 03 is the lack of car payments haha.

I'm looking to get one of those when I get a job after grad school. This school thing is really killing my pocket. But probably one of the biggest reasons of not modding my car this past year (aside from no money), I figure the new 2011 is pretty nice and it has power.
