OP u might pick up 20 rwhp with LTs but more importantly ur car will breathe much better reducing your PSI by 1-2 overall.

Just not worth spending the extra cash on Kooks, stick with Mac! Love mine and they are good quality!

Absolutely add long tubes while the motor is out! That is almost a no brainer.

As for the brand... KOOKS are real nice, but pricey. There are other decent ceramic coated headers that are probably better values. Find a good deal on headers and mid-pipe and go for it.

Do you see the longtubes in this picture?

Hell no. Who care what they look like you cant see them anyway. Kooks are not worth the money. BTW those are MAC non ceramic longtubes on this 700rwhp engine.

whatever you do dont buy pypes lts unless you know how to weld. my egr tube snapped right off.

If you already have a midpipe,shorty's and FI I would say hold off and put that money towards something else since even though they are shorties you already have a full exhaust done with the combo of the shorties,midpipe and catback.

I like my MACs, but whatever long tubes you get, your exhaust will be much louder in the higher rpm range (mine is compared to stock manifolds)...its really neat-o.
