It's going to be specific to your car. Email tunes are called "canned" tunes for a reason. They are generic and although they will improve HP only to a degree. If you want the most out of your stang then a dyno is it.

The "canned" tunes now a days are pretty accurate. Willie at Dirty Dirty Racing had a customer come in with a SCT mail tune on his car and wanted Willie to dyno tune it. Long story short they didn't get much of any extra hp out of the custom tune. This of course was with an N/A 2v, nothing extreme.

I say enjoy the mail order tune

93 race tune from BAMA. Not my DD though.

De-accelerating from around 3500rpm's leaves goose bumps on my neck. Or going down this long hill here in town in 4th gear, about 45-50mph, off the gas, where its just steep enough to where I don't gain speed, but don't lose speed.

Makes it sound like I got wild a$$ cams.

87 octane Bama street tune on stock '06 GT. It has great throttle response for around-town driving, and I can get 22 mpg in suburbia if I keep my foot light and the revs low (plus a few other hypermiling tricks). The fun factor goes up (and the MPG down) as my foot gets heavier!
