Default For those with nitrous

What made you want to go with nitrous and not a different form of FI? Also, do you have any regrets for choosing nitrous?

The initial cost was the biggest deciding factor for me. If you don't use it at every stoplight, the overall cost (longterm included) isn't really that high. I've had my kit for about 4 years and I doubt if I have spent $4k total on the whole setup to date, including refills.

I don't regret going that route at all. My car has been quicker/faster in the 1/4 then I ever thought it would be so I am very happy about that.

I've just really been considering playing with nitrous and building around. Seems like it'd be fun

Short term budget constraints mostly. For less than $1000 I could achieve 417rwhp/498lb-ft torque. I never use spray on the street, so 99.95% of the time there is no additional strain on my motor. However, at the track it runs pretty strong.

Soldier beat me to it haha.

ride in a car with nitrous and you'll be hooked man. especially a stick car with a decent sized shot. the instant power is awesome. The reason i bought it in the first place was for the horsepower per dollar aspect. I have about 750 into all my parts, and like true stated above when the nitrous isn't on there's no strain at all other than stock. but then you wanna go fast and just turn a **** and flip a switch and bam, another 150hp/200ft lbs just like that.

^that's what i'm doing. i want around 600horse and dont want to spray a 300 shot lol, so i'll be doing a mild blower setup to get between 450-500whp then a 1-150 shot on top of that to get me to my goals. however on a stock block, with both blower and spray, something will blow apart, you're already in the area of ticking time bomb with 425hp.

The initial cost is nice and the fact that I'd only use it at the track would continue to make it cheap
