My car has a perplexing problem, in that the brakes seem to engage while I am driving. Almost like you can feel the calipers grabbing as I'm driving down the road. Brake pedal feels very stiff & "grainy". When I am rolling to a stop the car will not roll and slow down, it will abruptly just stop like I have applied the brakes. Almost like my e-brake is pulled. Rotors have been machined, new pads and a new hydro boost.

This is intermittent, seems to begin shortly after I start driving, but has been doing this for a while.

Is your e-brake cable stuck? Have you used it? Have you tried pulling it a couple times to see if anything happens?

Do you have old fluid in there? Are you sure the parking brake is not engaged?
