Default Rock Auto

My MAF sensor went out a few weeks ago and my car has a 03/04 cobra wiring harness and sensor so I looked around to find a motorcraft sensor and found one on rockauto. I ordered one for a 03 Mustang 4.6 DOHC supercharged, get it here and the outlet is much smaller than the one I have. I figured what the hell I'll give it a shot, put it on and sure enough, doesn't work. So I do some research and come to find out that part number I ordered was for a GT. I give 'em a call up and tell 'em their catalog is wrong but the woman says "Well it says here you ordered one for a 03 Mustang 4.6 DOHC supercharged, not one for an SVT Cobra." I had to argue with this woman for 10 minutes that there is no other Mustang with a DOHC that is supercharged that year, and the only other dohc is a mach 1. Anywho, she said they aren't changing the catalog but are gonna refund my money. Just wanted to vent and warn anyone who may need a MAF sensor for an 03/04 cobra or a lightning. Anyone else ever have any problem with them?

I have dealt with them for years, and have been generally pleased with the prices and quality--however I have within the last couple years begun cross-referencing their listed parts before buying, as it seems their search engine has become loaded with a lot of misinformation.

Oh don't get me wrong, I was still pleased with the service. The woman was more than willing to refund my money, I was just trying to argue with her about their catalog needing a change. I ended up finding 2 different part numbers for the sensor I needed, done some researching and apparently motorcraft just recently changed the part number for the maf sensor for an 03/04 cobra and lightning and rockauto still has both #'s in their catalog

I understand, I buy from them regularly--you just need to do a bit more research before clicking the "Confirm Payment" button...
