Default clutch noise

I have 2004 gt mustang and I have been hearing whining noise for awhile now. The whining noise only happens when I engage the clutch but gets louder when my rpms go up. The noise goes away when I release the clutch.
It almost sounds as if the power steering is going out. I believe my stang has a stock transmission and clutch but I could be wrong for I purchased the vehicle used.
Any help or advice will be helpful for I can’t figure out the problem.
Thanks,
Schmidtty

Could be a worn Throwout Bearing, If its a stock clutch im sure its due for replacement as well.. my guess.

Also, Get the Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch. I have it and its teh best clutch around IMO.

You also want the Centerforce throwout bearing

Hmmm I will keep that in mind. But I don’t think I will change out the clutch just yet, because the clutch is still relatively stiff. So I’m guessing the guy before me had the clutch changed before he sold it.
