Default Quoted clutch install price

My clutch is on it's last days so I got a quote to install a Spec 2 and was wondering if this is pretty standard. Same shop that did my tuning and S/C install will be doing the work. Now before everyone says to do it my self I do not have the tools or time to do this on my own. If I add the aluminum flywheel it will put another $370 on the price.

Spec Stage 2 clutch PN/ SF872
Bulkhead adjuster (Ford OEM part)
TOB (Ford OEM part)
Pilot bearing (Ford OEM part)
Quadrant (UPR part) doesn't include shipping
Labor 6 hrs @ $90 pr/hr
Resurface flywheel

$1100 plus tax

*Edit* Didn't factor in that you have to pay for the clutch and parts. I think $1100 is more or less accurate.

The labor is about what I paid for my recent clutch replacement.

My clutch with labor and install was $900, well worth it honestly as it'll be better than any other after market clutch out there. Ever thought about looking at a custom built one?

Sounds accurate for the work. I know one place quoted me $800 to replace the clutch in my old 67.

$1100 is for parts and labor not including tax. All parts are listed plus resurfacing the flywheel is thrown in there.

So the price is not off by much. The car does not put enough to the ground to warant a custom unit IMO. Something I have not really looked at. I know this one is going out just by the noises it is making and the feel of the pedal.

I think thats a fair quote for labor and those parts.

Just put a new clutch in my Cobra (still breaking in) and it was a pretty simple job really if you have access to a lift and beer

Neither does mine honestly. But I wanted a clutch that can hold almost any amount of power I will throw at it plus be awesome for daily driving. When I had my ram hdx clutch the drivability on it suck *****, big hairy ones. Hated it with a passion. Mine now feels better than stock and will hold a lot of power
